Junior Big Data Science Module 1
This is a foundational course that establishes a basic understanding of data, data science and Big Data. Influences that led to the emergence of Big Data are described, along with common data formats, tools and a range of fundamental analytics and analysis practices. The course is supplemented with a range of easy-to-understand visual examples based on a running scenario involving a soccer team. The course concludes with a case study-based lab-style exercise.

Junior Big Data Science Module 2
This course continues coverage of fundamental topics by introducing the common Big Data lifecycle stages to explain how, step-by-step, Big Data practices are carried out. The course then delves into further analysis and analytics techniques, including those based on data visualization and machine learning. The course is supplemented with a range of easy-to-understand visual examples based on a running scenario involving a soccer team. The course concludes with a case study and three associated lab-style exercises.
