About Arcitura Certifications

CERTIFICATION EXAMS

The following are the Arcitura certification exams that correspond to the Arcitura courses:

EXAM FORMAT OPTIONS

To provide you with the most flexibility on your learning path, Arcitura offers a set of exam format options that you can choose from:

  • There are over 50 Arcitura courses. Each course is comprised of multiple course modules. There are over 120 course modules available.
  • Each Arcitura course has a corresponding certification exam. You can achieve any Arcitura professional certification by passing the complete exam for that accreditation. Taking complete exams is the most popular option. Visit the Complete Exams page to browse these exams.
  • Some Arcitura courses encompass fundamental course modules that are also part of other courses. For this purpose, partial courses are available. For each partial course, there is a corresponding partial exam. Visit the Partial Exams page to browse these exams.
  • Some learners prefer to be tested on a module-by-module basis. To accommodate these learners, Arcitura also offers module-specific exams. Visit the Course Modules & Module-Specific Exams page to browse these exams and their associated course modules.

To summarize, you can choose to achieve a certification by passing the necessary regular complete or partial exams, or you can progress through a certification track by taking one module-specific exam at a time.

There are pros and cons to each approach:

  • It is generally easier and more effective to progress through a course track by completing a module and then being tested on that module, before proceeding to the subsequent module. This helps validate that you have attained a sound understanding of one set of topics before proceeding to the next set of topics.
  • The durations of individual module-specific exams are shorter than regular exams. The combined duration when taking module-specific exams for a given track is significantly greater than regular exams.
  • If you fail a regular (multi-module) exam, you will likely need to retake the entire exam in order pursue the passing grade necessary to attain a certification. If you fail a module-specific exam, you only need to retake that one exam to get a passing grade for that course module. For example, in a 5-module track, if you pass the exams for the first 4 modules and fail the exam for the fifth module, you only need to retake the exam for the fifth module.
  • For a given track, the overall cost of the module-specific exams will be higher than the corresponding regular exam.
