Arcitura curricula and certifications are held to the highest standards. Exams, courses, text books, and official supplements and resources undergo vigorous development and review cycles and are further subjected to review and verification cycles by independent Education Committees. Emphasis is always placed on ensuring absolute vendor-neutrality, while producing educational materials and accreditation in alignment with the current IT industry.
Arcitura courses are known for addressing progressive, cutting edge topics within the IT industry, while limiting course content and exam requirements to those topic areas that are sufficiently mature and proven, both in technology and practice. Arcitura is constantly committed to achieving and retaining this balance, which can result in courses undergoing periodic reviews and revisions in order to stay current with relevant industry developments.
Arcitura Education Inc. was established as a sister corporation to SOA Systems Inc., an organization founded over ten years ago by best-selling author Thomas Erl who remains the President and CEO of both companies. Thomas is a recognized IT thought leader and maintains his status as Series Editor of the Prentice Hall Service Technology Series from Thomas Erl, as well as a member of both Education Committees that oversee Arcitura programs.
As a corporation established in 1998, SOA Systems Inc. was responsible for SOA School, which governed the widely successful SOA Certified Professional (SOACP) program. With the emergence of the Cloud Certified Professional (CCP) program in 2011, Arcitura Education became a parent organization to both SOA School and Cloud School, paving the way for additional programs and schools that are in development.
